Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university
- Basic to intermediate operational understanding of the appropriate CAD software (Revit and AutoCAD)
- Demonstrated facility with Architectural 3-D and rendering software (Sketchup, Photoshop, Rhinoceros, 3ds Max, etc.)
- Experience designing industrial, commercial, institutional type facilities
- Must have three years of design experiance
Essential Duties:
- Performs a variety of routine tasks, which provide experience and familiarity with architectural staff methods, practices and programs
- Performs work involving conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures and equipment with relatively few complex features, for which there are precedents or guidelines
- May prepare the drawings of his/her own designs, or from sketches provided by others
- May be required to perform field inspections, measurements or calculations
- Works independently to apply code provisions and design procedures
- Becoming skilled at producing and organizing presentations
